We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help transport our Special Education students to and from school. Experience is not required for this position. Bus Driver Position

Qualifications:
- Must be 23 years old to drive a large bus and be able to secure a CDL with a school bus endorsement
- A valid driver’s license for 3 consecutive years in good standing
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive a school bus and transport students in a safe and courteous manner
- Greet students, ensure on-time schedules, and maintain a safe environment
- Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns
- Other duties as required
Monitor/Aid Position
Monitor/Aide Responsibilities:
- Know the route and remain alert to monitor the welfare of passengers while in route
- Assist students in the loading and unloading process
- Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students, and parents
- Attend all safety and training meetings when required
- Conduct emergency evacuations from the bus, including the use of the emergency exit door
Monitor/Aide Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 18 years old
- Good verbal communication skills
- Early morning availability
- Judgment and problem-solving skills
Must be able to:
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Consistently monitor and view multiple students on the bus at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Observe students for signs of distress, discomfort, or unsafe behavior during transit
- Move up and down stairs easily
Passenger Assistance
- Help students board and exit the bus safely, including those using wheelchairs or mobility devices
- Secure wheelchairs, safety harnesses, and other equipment properly to ensure safe transportation
- Ensure that students are safely loaded and unloaded at school and home, with particular attention to students needing assistance with mobility or other special accommodations
